
We all love chats but when it comes to eating healthy and tasty, this recipe is the one for you.
Ingredients:
- 2 sweet potatoes
- ¼ cup chickpeas boiled
- Sweet tamarind chutney
- Coriander chutney
- Roasted cherry tomatoes
- Chopped coriander


Procedure:
- Wash properly and cut sweet potatoes lengthwise, rub olive oil and wrap in silver foil and bake for 40min at 200°C, until they are cooked tender, ensure you don’t remove the peel.
- Meanwhile, roast chickpeas in oil then sprinkle salt and chilli powder.
- Place the halved sweet potatoes on a plate and mash it with a fork.
- Fill the mashed sweet potato boats with tamarind chutney, roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted chickpeas, chopped coriander to finish the chat.
Another option:
Tahini Sauce: mix two tbsp of tahini paste with once tbsp of lemon juice and one crushed garlic clove and salt to taste, add water to get a semi-liquid sauce.
After step 3, pour tahini sauce and top it with roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted chickpeas, chopped coriander.
