
Comfort food, nutritious, very easy to make yet rich and delish.
Ingredients:
- 300 to 350 grms of broccoli cut into big florets
- 1 big onion chopped
- 1 big carrot sliced
- 2 inch cinnamon stick
- 3 – 4 cardamom
- 3 – 4 peppercorn
- 1 star anise
- 3 cloves
- 1 green chilli
- 3 – 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbs butter or olive oil
- ½ cup fresh cream
- 4 cups of water
- Salt to taste
Procedure :
1.In a soup pot add butter or olive oil and add garlic, green chilli, cloves, star anise, pepper cons, cardamom, cinnamon stick, onion, carrot and broccoli. Saute for 3 minutes. Add 4 cups of water and cook till tender.
2.Bring it to room temperature and blend it to a perfect smooth puree. Sieve the puree in the soup pot and cook till boil. Add fresh cream and serve hot.
