Taco Chaat

Taco chaat can be assembled in jiff for your guests if you keep the filling ready.The yummy colourful chaats are so versatile that one needs to be just creative to do some fusion and Taco chaat is a marriage of different flavours perfectly matched. Am sure you must be tempted to make and eat Taco chaat right now by seeing the pic.


  • 2 potatoes boiled 
  • 1 cup chickpeas boiled
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp chana masala
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Cherry tomatoes 
  • Sev
  • Tamarind date chutney
  • Green chutney

Procedure :

  1. Saute boiled Chickpeas in a tbsp of oil add ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp chana masala for 2 to 3 mins.
  2. Saute boiled and cubed potatoes in 3 tbsp oil add ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric. Fry till golden.
  3. Prepare your own green chutney by grinding a bunch of dhaniya leaves (washed properly), 4 to 5 green chilli,1 inch ginger, 2 to 3 tbsp lemon juice,salt as per taste. Grind everything to a smooth paste by adding little water.
  4. Microwave the soft mini tacos for 30 secs then fill the taco with prepared chana,potatoes,green chutney,tamarind date chutney,repeat chutneys one more time. Finally sprinkle chopped onions,sev and cherry tomatoes.
