Beetroot Barfi

This is a Desi way of making Valentine special desserts, which is simple, easy and much healthier. With just six ingredients you can make perfect barfis for your loved ones.


  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 cups beetroot grated
  • 2 cups fresh coconut shredded
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Slivered pistachio for garnishing

Directions :

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan, heat ghee, saute beetroot along with coconut.
  2. Keep sauteing while moisture evaporates, then add condensed milk.
  3. Keep mixing the mixture till everything swirls into the pan.
  4. Pour into a greased plate, make it even and let it cool down completely then cut into pieces of desired shapes.
