Ridge gourd / Turai has so many health benefits and it is completely diabetic friendly. You must try this chutney; it’s simple, yummy and healthy.

Ingredients:
- 300gms Turai / Ridge gourd
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 4-5 green chillies
- 3-4 red chillies
- Salt asper taste
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- 4-5 sprigs of coriander
Tempering ingredients:
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 red chillies
- Pinch of asafoetida
- Curry leaves
Procedure:
- Peel ridge gourd and cut it into pieces.
- Heat a tbsp of oil, saute garlic, cumin, green chilli, red chilli, for a minute. Then add ridge gourd pieces and salt. Cook until tender.
- After it is cool, grind.
- Heat tempering ingredients and pour over chutney.
