
Ingredients for filling:
- 1 cup khoya
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp almond slivers
- 2 tbsp pistachios
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- ½ cup fine sugar
- ¾ cup dry coconut powder
Ingredients for crust:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp ghee
- A pinch of salt
- Oil for deep frying
Procedure:
- Rub ghee and flour nicely, add salt and water to make the dough. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
- Roast khoya till brown then let it cool.
- Roll out the portion of dough, place a portion of stuffing in the centre, fold it to make a semi circle and press the sides with a fork.
- Fry the Gujiyas in a medium heat oil or in ghee.
