Methi Paneer Bhurji

Easily prepare a delectable Methi Paneer Bhurji at home, ideal alongside dal chawal or roti. The inclusion of methi (fenugreek leaves) elevates the dish, intensifying its taste and aroma. Enjoy the delightful blend of flavors in this simple yet flavorful recipe.


  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 3 to 4 green chillies chopped
  • 1 inch ginger chopped
  • 2 big onions chopped
  • 1 bunch of fresh fenugreek leaves chopped
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tsp kitchen king masala
  • 400 gms grated paneer


  1. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a wok. Add 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds and saute briefly.
  2. Add chopped green chillies, ginger, and onions. Saute for a few minutes until onions become translucent.
  3. Stir in chopped fresh fenugreek leaves and cook until tender.
  4. Season with salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, and kitchen king masala. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add grated paneer and gently mix everything together. Cook for a few more minutes and serve hot.
