Baked Pasta 

Holiday special Baked Pasta will soon be your favorite. It has all the goodness of chickpeas, corn, spinach with an incredible taste of white sauce and pasta sauce with loads of cheese. You must try and let me know.

Ingredients for white sauce :

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves grated
  • 1 ½ tbsp flour
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • ½ tsp oregano’s
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese

Main Ingredients :

  • ½ cup boiled chickpeas 
  • ¼ cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup boiled pasta
  • ¼ cup blanched and chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup sundried tomatoes
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp pasta sauce
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp oil

Procedure :

  1. To prepare white sauce, heat the pan, add garlic then flour and keep stirring until the raw smell of flour goes. Slowly pour milk and whisk continuously. Make sure no lumps are formed and fine smooth sauce is made. Add oregano, thyme, pepper, salt and parmesan cheese.
  2. Saute corn and boiled chickpeas in a tbsp of oil, add chili powder and pasta sauce, and saute for one minute.
  3. Take a baking dish, place chickpeas and corn mixture, in that cover with boiled pasta then white sauce, then spinach and sundried tomatoes. Finally spread mozzarella cheese and bake @ 180° for 15 mins.
